Built By Adams was founded in 1976 (originally named Adams Construction) by George Adams, Jr. and it was his commitment and dedication to building the best homes on the market that continues to drive our company today in Maine and New Hampshire.

For over 30 years, hundreds of people have turned to Built By Adams to experience the dream of home ownership and remodeling services. Today, we are one of Southern Maine’s most respected and reliable home building and design firms with a reputation for providing great homes, outstanding quality, energy efficiency, and innovation into every home we build. In 2006, Built By Adams became the 1st builder in York County to make a 100% commitment to build all of our homes Energy Star rated homes.  Along with energy efficient building practices, Built By Adams homes offer healthy indoor air packages, Energy Star lighting, and green building techniques to help reduce waste and preserve the environment.

It is our goal at Built By Adams to be a home building company you grow old with. It is evident from our repeat customers  and referrals that our customers love our homes. It has never been the goal of Built By Adams to become the biggest volume builder around, but to simply be the best builder around.
